Feels chaotic

Not chaotic in a bad way, but like hectic, which is what I'd say fits well to Sonic. I can't say I've played many more hectic games.

Intro sounds just a bit messy, but I absolutely love it when the song starts. The fast-paced piano with the rhythmics backing up, and especially the choir backing.

Also quite like the transition at about 1.00, with the bass sounding synths. The fast paced snare drum really helps bringing the track forward. Not so sure about the hi-hat, though.

This would do great as a boss battle, without a doubt. The piano is pretty much masterful in this track, and really makes the entire thing, so well-done. I love the pace of it all. Even the "slower" parts, if I can call it that, sound hectic and are really enjoyable. Not a big fan of the fade-out, I believe you could've done something pretty cool with the ending on this piece.

Yeah, I agree as well. Fade outs aren't really my thing either. I usually try to go for either loops or a proper ending altogether, so this might be something I change in the future for this track.

I also don't like the hi-hat either. I spent a while trying to look for a hi hat sample that actually sounded decent in this and this is the best I could come up with. Not really satisfied by that bit, though.

Anyway, noone's ever used my stuff in flashes so I don't expect that to change but listening to this during a fight, ect would really be amazing.

Thanks for your in-depth review.

Dude, what

You made this? This sounded proper professional. Apart from some needed mastering, this track is practically ready to be released.

There is some audio quality issues, but I actually prefer it like that, feels a bit more real, somewhat lo-fi. Loving the beats in the percussion, and the trumpets are clean and perfect for the song. Vocals are so damn cool, I'd love to get the lyrics if you had them.

Only issue I really have is the ending, which sounds a bit messy. Other than that, holy crap, I get this beat. Loving it.

whats good

Music, nah.

I've heard something somewhat similar to this before, so I know that this is considered music to some. Don't know what the genre is, but I don't regard it as music.

Very similar synths throughout, buzzers, a constant beat that for some reason halts out of nowhere. I'm really not sure what to say to this, it doesn't look like you put much effort into it.

Thanks for the intelligent review. I didn't know this was a genre. I just like making noise.

Thanks!

Sounds nice

I'm not entirely sure about the drop, because it begins basically at the start of the clip. If you could upload a version with a couple more seconds before the drop, it'd be easier to make something out of it.

The drop sounds really fucking dirty though, and that's always a good thing when it comes to the 'step.

But again, hard to make out when it's so short, would like to have about five seconds before and after the drop.

Hey! Thanks for the review. I'll finish the edges off the intro shortly and upload it. Thanks for the quick review by the way.

Nothing impressing

I can't really find much I like about this track. The entire track is entirely random, and the beat seems to actually go off-beat at times. It's a real simple beat with an even simpler melody line on top, with a synth that doesn't sound too nice.

It would probably be better backing up for vocals, I'm pretty sure that this track could get boosted up a couple points if you had a vocal on top. Right now It sounds rather boring and unoriginal.

Thanks for your review. I'm not much of a rapper, so I would other people spit on the beat rather than having me screw it up. Simple is my style tho, but if it is too bland I can perhaps add more to the flavor. I'll keep it in mind.

Peacee.

Haha

A bit quirky, maybe? More on the humorous side of things, especially with the vocal samples you used in it, the robotic and the child's one.

I really liked the beat, and the buzzed synths sounded really good. Extremely intense and high speed track, this. You could definitely make something really cool out of it if you made it longer, as long as you made sure it didn't become repetitive.

Now, if this is a loop, I'd say it looped well, but it's marked as a Song, so in that case, you should do something with the ending, which is quite weird right now, very abrupt.

hahaa well i say its a loop then :D but ty man ;) keep it coming :D

Deserving of 100%

What an amazing track. I can't really find much to pick on here.

First think I can think of is that the intro was really well-done. I really like that you tried to incorporate percussion into such a techy track, you did it pretty good, but I really don't like the crash sounds, and the drum samples in general aren't the best for a track of this nature. Also wondering what's up with the sudden drop at about 0.55 and again after about a minute, and at 2.20?

Thinking of what this song was to be used to, it sounds really good. I can easily imagine this being in the background of a promotional video of sorts.

I see where you got the idea of air from, the melody is quite floating, relaxing. only thing keeping it from being a proper ambient track (IMO, of course, it's quite relative) is the fact that the rhythmics section is so powerful.

The fade-out, I'm not a big fan of, seems like a simple exit to a pretty nice piece.

Birdinator99 responds:

Those drops were to enhance the crescendos into the next section -- I feel like I don't do enough of that stuff, y'know? I think varying dynamics, used effectively, can make a piece more interesting. Whether or not that was accomplished here is up for debate, though. I'm just glad you noticed it, frankly!

As for the fade out, I think it was best for the video to end it that way, but I understand your view on it.

The drum samples -- I like 'em, but the crash is iffy in some spots I suppose.

I always appreciate your reviews, dude. Thanks very much!

Very well-made

Great track, only one or two things I want to point out.

The rhythmics section is the hero of this track. Sounds great with a smooth beat throughout the song, pushing it forth, bringing that hip hop element into life. Seems like the kick quality is a bit off as the melody kicks in, some static right there.

The song is a bit repetitive, but it's not a huge problem, because the melodic synths are really well done.

Transitions are also very good. i don't like the fade-out at the end, for one you dragged it out a lot, and there's about 30 seconds at the end that's practically inaudible, and it's not the most original of ways to end a song.

But as I said, rhythmics, great, original, like it, pushes forward, synths in melody, a bit repetitive, not the best outro. Luckily, the intro is very good and makes up for that with a great and swift buildup.

Haha thanks a lot for the review!

Huh

Could've sworn I'd already reviewed this. Oh well!

Thing I love the most about this track? The vocal samples at the beginning. They sound so good, I really wish you'd used them more throughout the song, because right now, they do sound a bit out of place, considering you only hear them once. It'd be a 10/10 had it not been for that.

The composition in this track is pretty damn amazing. It pulses constantly throughout, it's got backing bass and great synth melodic lines, with backing synths. Rhythmics section is amazing, absolutely loving it.

Loving the fuzzy bass synth. Fits in well, and sounds great at the segment at 1.30, with the softer synths in the back. This is also a really great transition.

Not a huge fan of the fade-out ending, but I can't really think of a better way to end it myself. Great track nonetheless!

Decibel responds:

No, You didn't review, if i'm not mistaken =P

I didn't quite like the vocal samples for some reason, I just used them to fill out the intro, in fact they were chosen at random =P

Thanks a lot for the review mate =)

I'm not using Colin btw because I'm on some Azerbaijani Keyboard and I can't find the colins

Feel it

A very good track indeed. The ambience feels great, and I can't put it any other way than SCTE3, mellow.

Loving the melodic intro, only thing that somewhat ruins it for me there is the percussion, which feels a bit too sharp and loud. The tom-toms(?) that come in at about 0.55 sound great, very nice progression of the track.

The synths playing the back really builds up the main melodic track, which sounds great. You did real good on selecting a proper synth and the notes here.

Also not quite sure how I feel about the synths that come in at about 1.30, they don't really work with the ambient feel you've made so far, and sound somewhat off-key at times. Not sure how I feel about the guitar either. It's very well played, but it seems somewhat out of place with the mellow, laidback, relaxed feel of the rest of the song.

A really good track, a fade-out at the outro didn't sound bad and was probably the best thing to do.
