Epic indeed.

What a great track. Feels like an epic voyage across the seas, methinks.

I don't really have anything bad to say about the composition or your use of the instruments. It's very harmonic, and majestic, absolutely. It might have lacked some percussion, even though you did very well on that part as well.

The problem is rather with the audi oquality. Some of the sounds, the trumpet sounds in particular, seemed to creat a cracking sound as they peaked. Not very pleasing to the ear. You should see if you could do something about that.

Very, very impressive.

Apart from the somewhat repetitive nature of the song, this is a really, really good track.

The intro was sudden, but not necessarily in a bad way. It sounded really good, and worked as a build-up to the main melody.

The whooshing sound that goes through the entire sound actually gets somewhat annoying after some time. It might be the hi-hat? I'm not sure what it is that makes the sound, but it got very repetitive.

Other than that, I have to say it wasn't really too generic or unoriginal, au contraire. Sure, it's not the most revolutionary thing I've heard, but considering the genre and what you went for, it's really good.

Not bad, but very generic.

It's a very good track, and it certainly serves its purpose when it comes to being catchy and danceable, but it's really not too original.

The intro is very unoriginal. The crowd cheering in the back and the... bells? Sounded like I was listening to Cascada, really.

When the rhythm joins in, it doesn't get much better. It still sounds very generic. It's only when the actual sound starts that it gets a bit better, but it still sounds a lot like Cascada-ish music.

At about 1.15 the song sounds a bit more original, and it keeps going in the same tracks for some time. However, the song feels somewhat repetitive after you reach the 2-minute mark. The ending is pretty good, it's not too sudden, but still cuts off at the perfect place, without dragging out.

Bouncy!

I really like the title of the song, as I found the song to be jumpy/bouncy, because of the rhythmic bass and the melody.

The main problem with most trance is that it's very generic and unoriginal, and soon gets repetitive. You've nicely avoided this by changing up the melody from time to time and adding/removing instruments.

There was an odd instrument that joined in at about 2.12, which didn't fit in for somet time. However, around 2.40 the entire song sped up a bit, which made that specific instrument fit in much better.

I really liked the instruments you've used as well. At some points throughout the song it felt somewhat empty, though. The intro also dragged out a bit, with pretty cheesy drums to start off. Other than that, a great track. The ending was also very well-done.

Firstly, thanks for the review! They are like gold to me. Its great to hear that Ive managed to make a somewhat different sounding trancer. The instrument at 2.12 is a Hardcore (fl plugin) guitar that i messed with, it sounds awesome but i need to figure out how to get it to play nice with other sounds a bit. Things to work on....

Quite good

It's trance all right, but I can still hear those traces of house you tried to mix in.

It's a simple and okay track. It's not too special, it's somewhat unoriginal, but it still serves its purpose, making people get out on the dancefloor.

Seeing as it's so short, it's not really repetitive. However, if it were longer, it would eventually get quite repetitive. Yes, you switch up the melody somewhat, but the general structure of the song, and the rhythmic section, is pretty much the same. But, by switching up the melody, you avoid it getting boring.

The biggest problem I have is that it's so short. It seems almost unfinished. That, and it being somewhat unoriginal. If you could make a longer one, and try to mix even more house into it, it could potentially be a really good song.

Thanks for the review mate! I tried making it as simple of a trance and house track as I can. I always experiment with the way I make stuff and here I made it as basic and I can. I could just add a house bass instead of a trance one, in time I will make up my mind and see where this song goes.

Great lyrics

You've got some serious talent. I'm guessing you're already aware.

Especially when it comes to lyrics, you've got it all down. It rhymes, it's funny, and it flows easily. It never sounds rushed or like you're forcing words out.

The beatboxing and singing in the back sound much better than pretty much any synth or drums/percussion could do, IMO. It fits so much better with the kind of music you're making. The only issue I had this time was that the melody sometimes sound a bit out-of-tune, and the intro sounded a tad bit jumbled, untill the rapping started, that is.

Either way, it's still a great track.

What is this, the new NG national anthem?

What a great track. I love the lyrics, and they're what made the biggest impact on me. They were not only funny, but they also rhymed and had a constant flow to them. In addition came the beatboxing providing backing for the vocals, and the singing. I'm impressed that you managed to make this track so good without using any form of synth or the like.

I'm not sure what else to say. I don't have anything that you could improve on, really. Great track. Gotta thank you for requesting it, wouldn't have heard it if you hadn't done that!

[Acidic Demo]

Not very structured

My main problem with the song is that it's very messy.

Now, messy isn't always necessarily a bad thing, but right now it just doesn't sound like a song.

First off, I gotta say that it does, at times, remind me of underground Mario levels in the earlier games.

On to the song, well, it's nice that you want to try and use only acidic sounds, but it didn't work out very well for you here.

First off, it often goes off-beat. The minor rhythmic section you have seems to either outrun or be outrun of the main melody. Speaking of, the main melody doesn't seem to be structured at all. It rather seems like you just threw a lot of acidic sounds in there in different pitches. I don't really understand the very sudden transition to a higher-pitched acidic sound all of a sudden about in the middle of the song. That sounded really weird.

Lastly, the ending was really cheap, and very sudden. There were no build-ups or outros, which songs really should have. Work on these things, try to get a more structured song, and you might have a good acid songs. At least you have the right sounds.

Very interesting

I gotta say, this is a very interesting track, but it really does drag on. A lot.

Did you use overdubbing? If so, you did it really good, as it sounded like a group of people singing. Really like your voice as well. The a capella part of the song, the intro and the way the vocals just carried on really worked out well. The clapping also followed well, and the song could've sound very naked if you'd left it out. Especially when there was no guitar.

The guitar parts were okay, nothing spectacular, but it fit the song and the vocals well.

The only problem I have with this song is that it's about three minutes too long. Seeing as there's so little variation, it gets really boring really fast. There is some variation in the guitar, but that's barely anything. The intro lasts for over a minute, before the guitar joins in, and the outro is also very slow, but at least here there's some variation in the vocals. Also, you've used a fade-out, which I find to be a cheap way of ending songs.

If you could shorten this or add more variation, it could've gotten a better score. You should at least work on something similar to this, because I find it pretty interesting and would love to hear more in the same style.

This is the best I've heard on NG Audio Portal in... a long time. Seriously, wow.

When a piece like this comes along, I have a hard time writing a review, because all I can think of saying is that it sounds great and is awesome.

The melody is really catchy. In general the song is technical enough to sound interesting and still simple enough to be very entertaining to pretty much anyone. I liked the double vocals, whether it was overdubbing or two vocalists.

The drums were also pretty interesting, and varied, but they might have been a bit too loud, as opposed to guitars which were maybe a bit too low.

This track goes in my favourites, now.
