Deep and dark

This looks a bit like a practice sketch.

It's dark and deep, somehow looks like a woman pressured under layers upon layers of something. It's obviously an emotional piece, I'd guess depicting the weight the character is carrying on it's shoulders.

The dark colors you've used and noise in the background really emphasize just that. The character itself however is very roughly done, looks like an anatomical sketch or something like that.

You uploaded this to Newgrounds? It's amazing! The details, the colors, the depth, it is, in the proper meaning of the word, absolutely epic.

Great improvement

You werent kidding about this being better. It's a huge improvement.

I suggest you fullscreen it if you plan on reviewing it, by the way.

The hair does look a bit odd, mor elike grass or strands of thread just taped to his head, you might want to add that to the list of things you should work on.

There's not much shading here, but there seems to be some around the nose and eyes, which is pretty well done. Try to get some more shading in. The mouth looks pretty neat, I'm not sure what's up with the red spots in his eyes? And it seems like there's a thread going through his teeth, I'm not sure what that's about.

The hair does solve the problem of edges, though, so that's a pretty good thing.

I also like that you decided to finally add some background. The gradiant is nice, and I like that you've written "THOR" in the back as well.

Interesting

I like the piece, even though I'm no Judas Priest fan (I googled his name).

I found some pictures for reference, and I have to say I like your somewhat parodical piece on him. His head does have a pretty odd shape, yes.

best part about this is without a doubt the lighting and shading you've done. It's very skillfully drawn, especially with all the folds in the leather jacket, there's a lot to take care of when it comes to shading.

Cool color scheme

I really like the color scheme you've used, blood red and black really makes for an evil-looking picture.

I like the character you've drawn. The tired eyes, messy hair, large mouth. Seems like one of those mad men that'll kill without a second thought.

The text at the bottom ruins it a bit, but I'm guessing that's related to the Birthday Present.

Cute

It's a cute little character design. not so much artsy, but it'd fit very well in a flash animation, that I'm pretty sure of.

The shading is a bit weird, and I'm uncertain of where the light source is located. The colors are a bit dull as well, very simple.

I know hands are hard to draw, and I think you did just fine with them. They look somewhat odd, but they look just fine.

Apart from the mouth, this is an amazing piece, I really, really like it.

Sure, she might lack half her body, and this does look like a sketch, but I like it enough to favorite it. I just really like the sketchy style on this one. i think it looks better than if you were to finish it and shade it proper and such.

Looks pretty badass

Love the style. The colors look pretty cool, but I'm pretty much certain it would look better if you'd done it in spray paint.

I did like how you wrote out the word, with the letters connected to eachother. Could done some shading too, that would probably make it look real cool.

Impressive

This has to be inspired by Amnesia.

I really like it. I'm not a huge fan of this kind of pixel art, feel it looks like low-quality line art.

But that shouldn't affect my score.I really like the facial expression of the guy hiding. Apart from maybe his legs/butt he looks very well, anatomically speaking. The lighting is good and you've done well when shading it. I really like how you put the monster in front of a lightsource, makes him look even worse.

Simple and cute

Not a bad piece at all, I like the simple style.

OProblem with such simple style is that people often figure they can get off without detailing their piece. Sure enough, you don't need as much detail, but it's nice to see effort put into it.

I especially liked your shading on this one, and the shine in the eyes and on the shoes. I think you might have gone a bit overboard on the shine in the eyes.

The arms are a bit short, and the hands are a bit big and don't look too good. Looks like you're going for something like an american chibi style or something :P
