Short

===============
Score: 4 / 10
Summary: Short
Review: It's obviously unfinished, and I suggest you don't submit unfinished work here. That's to be put in the NG Alpha section.
On to the flash:
The drawings were pretty cool. A simple, kinda "thrown on there"-style, and it looks great, I must say. THe animations were slightly choppy. If you're using frame-by-frame, I suggest you increase the FPS. Or you could use motion tweening.
I'm looking forward to seeing a more finished version.

Artistic

Score: 10 / 10
Summary: Artistic
Review: This is absolutely deserving of it's spot as currently #1 flash on NG. The first thing you'll notice is the great contrasts between red and black, with a little yellow and white from time to time. There is no voicing, but a sweer music that really makes one happy. An ignored little kid that makes one happy, and feel sorry for her. The mysterious egg which turns out to be a dragon of sorts.
I find the bonding between the girl and the dragon to be something special and incredibly cute and vital for the story. It saddens me to see such a brutal and mean father, treat his daughter like this. Overall this is a great flash. It really gives you the mood, and it really captivates you, all throughout the story. It's sucha sweet story, with the sweetest dragon ever. Really. THis can melt anyone's heart. Great flash.

Entertaining and cute

Score: 8 / 10
Summary: Entertaining and cute
Review: This is what I like to see, cute and seemingly simple graphics with smooth animations and a cute little "story". I've really got nothing to complain or point out. It didn't get higher than 8/10 because it wasn't particularily long and it was a pretty simple flash. 8/10 is a very, VERY good rating, btw.

One fight.

Score: 7 / 10
Summary: One fight.
Review: Well, this absolutely is a good flash. What ruins it for me, however, is the fact that it's so short and doesn't even have a story. Well, that is, unless the viewer decides to read the quick background information before the movies is started. In my opinion, a great movie has a great story, and even though this has excellent and stunning graphics, both the drawings and smooth animations, it doesn't really have a deep story.
Then again, this IS a tribute. Now, I haven't seen the original, but this doesn't mean that this should be reviewed differently.
BTW, a small thing I loved, the HP-bars that floated around the pokemon, and were depleted upon them being attacked. Great stuff!

Score: 10 / 10

Review: This is classic Newgrounds. I love Father/Dad, and you've animated him pretty much perfectly. I love how these two team up to fight stronger, and how both of them get pummeled pretty hard, making them seem less god-like. I also enjoyed the graphics and smooth animations, as well as great music that really fit. And of course, the easter egg. It's always fun!
