Start of a series

===============
Score: 9 / 10
Summary: Start of a series
Review: I can see that this is a series that will last and produce endless amounts of laughter! At least, for me, that is.

Just like all your series, this one is one of the best on NG. It's simple, not too long, and entertaining. And to say the least, entertaining. I admit I've seen "Top 10 toilets in video game history"-kinda lists before, but they weren't done in this way, by 8-bitters.

A great concept with simple, entertaining graphics, funny puns and great comments. The british(?) dialects work perfectly with the roles. That alone is enough to make me laugh! Can't wait for the next episodes!

Not that funny

===============
Score: 8 / 10
Summary: Not that funny
Review: I honestly don't get how this was ranked so high. It's a really simple short, and it didn't make me laugh.

Well, it's a "funny" short, which means it's... short, it doesn't have to be full of great graphics, nor smooth animations. This one does have the latter, but there are stickmen, and the blood n gore graphics could be improved.

What really could've improved this flash, is some more entusiastic voice acting. That's what makes shorts like these funny. The voice acting. That itself would've earned another two stars.

I haven't got much more to say, really. It's funny, but not hilarious, and it doesn't deserve top 50, but I expect it'll drop soon. Either way, it's a nice attempt, but it just doesn't cut it for me.

Just action

Score: 7 / 10
Summary: Just action
Review: Now, I'm not gonna say that this was a bad flash. It wasn't. It just lacked content.

The graphics were good. A sketchy style fits such fighting flashes perfectly. The animations were also very smooth, both are big pluses.

Music was incredibly annoying, but it fit the fight, so I didn't really mind. The SFX was well timed, both with regards to the music and to the actual animation, the flash.

Here's the part people will hate me for. I've watched the Solid Stick series, and I don't really find them entertaining. I say you've improved a lot since episode 1, but I'm personally very tired of fighting-flashes. This is at least well-drawn, not a sprite-fight or a stickfight, but it still lacks history. I know, I know, it's not necessary, but fighting has been done over and over and over. It just isn't entertaining. At least, my opinion.

Breath of fresh air

===============
Score: 9 / 10
Summary: Breath of fresh air
Review: I dare say that this is the first time I've seen something like this, in this style. It seems so simple, but I bet we all know it's much more complex than you'd think.

The cartoony style remins me of series from Cartoon Network, such as the Powerpuff Girls. What? It's a reference!

Either way, the graphics look simple, but they're well done. They fit the style of the cartoon perfectly, the mood is set with the colors and tones, and the graphics fit, as I said, perfectly.

Music sounds great, and the music video is great. The fact that there's a back story is even better. I love it when flashes have a story. It's fascinating and much more entertaining, most of the time.

A fascinating flash, something new, something you don't see often. This is great! I honestly can't find anything that should hinder it in getting a 10/10.

Amazing

Score: 10 / 10
Summary: Amazing
Review: I've said a lot in previous reviews, but this is, without a doubt, no matter what I say in other reviews, the best flash on all of Newgrounds. I'm aware of the fact that you have a history of making movies, and that you've worked with professionals, but that doesn't make this movie any less incredible.

I am amazed by the artistic skill and originality seen in this flash. I've never seen something like it before. And when I say that, I'm not only talking of how I've never seen a big yellow blubbery thing bouncing along in a forest, I'm talking about the quality of this movie. It's a flash movie. An absolutely incredibly flash.

This Brackenwood world of yours is mystical and filled with creatures I've never heard or seen before. They are well drawn, and incredibly well animated. I know a lot of wrk must have gone into the making of this flash. I could see that it was filled to the brim with hard work as I was watching it.

The sounds, music, it's incredibly. It, combined with the backgrounds and colors creates a soothing atmosphere. Also, the sounds played during the funny scenes makes everything even more funny.

I'm in love with this flash. I mean, I could ramble on for the full 2,800 characters remaining, but that'd just be meaningless and make no sense. Here's to you, the greatest flash artist NG has seen.

Funny, immature humor!

Score: 9 / 10
Summary: Funny, immature humor!
Review: I can't believe I have yet to review the flash that started this epic series. It's about damn time!

A usual, the classic Mastermind style, with red, black and white, and I still love the dark atmosphere it creates. And of course, that creepy music that plays in the background also helps a lot, when it comes to setting the mood for the entire flash.

I guess what makes these flashes so unbelievably awesome is how you take a dark atmosphere, with supervillains and death, and adds incredibly immature humor, which I by the way love. It's two complete opposites, and it works out great! I mean, tits? On legs? In an evil villains secret lair? Who else would've thought of that?

Which brings me to the next point, originality. Sure, everyone has made an evil villain with minions, but no-one has made a black, red and white evil villain that hires tits for assistant and doesn't kill his minion when he stands up against him. Also, he says fuck you a lot. I'm pretty sure you won't see that very many other places.

The only thing I could've wished for was for it to be a little longer. I have no idea how you could've accomplished that with this, as it fits best as a short, and the ending really does end the episode, but I'd still wish for something more.

Flashback

===============
Score: 10 / 10
Summary: Flashback
Review: So I guess this really explains a lot about Jerry, eh? We thought we knew him already...

I like how you use this flash to build somewhat of a character around the name Jerry. A traumatic childhood, leads to his eventual suicide. I guess his father was right, then.

Again, just like in your other movies, you take something deep and serious, an abusive childhood and being put up for adoption, and make it funny. Oh, the faces of Jerry made me laugh every time. Especially when the closet door opened up just a little bit.

The animations are smooth, and the graphics are your specific style, with few to no sharp edges. I really like that in a flash. Smooth voicing and excellent SFX.

Also, I loved what you did with the closet. Normally I hate stuff like that, but this just made me laugh out loud.

Original

===============
Score: 9 / 10
Summary: Original
Review: Even though Newgrounds is pretty much full of original stuff, this one really sticks out. I mean, animation fighting off a computer? I think it's genious.

The graphics, a stickman, are simple, but I like how you animated the icons on the desktop. They're pretty small, so it can't have been too easy. These animations, during fights, look really smooth.

SFX fits great with the things happening in the game, but most of all, I'm impressed at all the things the different programs do. I like how you use the icons to determine what each one should do, and I especially liked how the anti-virus program handled the problem.

Also, a great, funny ending. That computer must be infected with something, though, because I've never seen so many pop-ups pop up randomly.

Naive

===============
Score: 10 / 10
Summary: Naive
Review: And when I say Naive, I don't mean the flash, the NG userbase or you, I mean Jerry.

See, this is one of those simple flashes that not only make an impact, but are funny and sad, both at once. It's part of a series... of sorts, and it's deeper than one would think. Through these flashes you develop the characters, weeknesses and strengths, while telling a story about a hella shitty life.

You never make the characters speak, but IMO, that is a good thing. You don't connect with the characters, so you simply look at them from the outside. And see their shitty lives.

When you combine serious stuff with funny shit like this, you get a masterpiece. I could be a dick and whine about the simple graphics, but that's your style, and I love it. Besides, nothing else would fit with this.

Practically perfect

===============
Score: 9 / 10
Summary: Practically perfect
Review: I must say, that this is one of the most inventive, original and funny tributes to a man I've ever seen. He absolutely deserves it!

I have barely anything to complain about, and I'm a strict reviewer, so that's a good thing. The music fitted, but didn't fit. In a weird way. It worked with the animations, but it just didn't work with Miyamoto. To me.

Other than that, as you've explained, it seems a little rushed at times, but that doesn't really lower the quality. The only reason it seems rushed is because everything else is so well done. And even the rushed parts are way above average, and wouldn't be something that I'd vote down about.

A great tribute, to a great man!
