Priceless punchline

Not just a giggle this time, more like a laugh. Out loud.

I like how this entire series is built on the quote "It's a trap!". I love how you manage to come up with these real simple sketches for just that quote.

Graphics and animation, well, they're Ackbar. Voices still the big issue, still only for the control room guy. Seriously, it sounds so bad.

bbqbeefburgerman got told

Did kinda sound like your microphone improved for this one.

However, this was short, even for a short skit. I didn't really like the joke either, didn't make me giggle like you usually do (oh my).

Graphics and animation, simple, but that's what this series is about, I s'pose, so I can't complain much on that. A bit loud on the SFX for the gatling gun, perhaps.

None too shabby

You've still got the funnies going for you, at least for me. Same issues as before, though.

Voice acting is your main issue, the microphones are not very good at all in these flashes. Though it's not too bad for the new aliens nor for Ackbar, the control room guy has some serious microphone issues.

Loved the plot ending in this one, though. Great stuff, loved it. Made mi giggle gewd.

Short skit

Not much of an improvement over the first, but there's something.

The graphics are the same, somewhat poor, a bit pixelated, with the black outlines making it look juuust a bit better. The animations are real simple, no limbs move, the entire pictures move.

Voicing is a bit better than in the first, though it's easy to hear where the mic cuts off, which isn't good. The voice of the control room guy is a bit clearer this time around, which is good.

Ah, a classic

It's not a bad flash, I giggled at the jokes, though the "trap", I didn't feel funny at all. Did like the ending, though.

Graphics are simple, not very good, and somewhat pixelated. I did like the black outline, that made it look somewhat better. Animations are really, really simple, but fits the idea and the graphics.

Voice acting could really be better. Main problem is the microphone quality. Especially on the controll room guy, the pitch was way too low, could barely hear him.

Absurd

I. Love. It.

Most Minecraft flashes I've seen are simple "THAT'S A NICE ***** YOU GOT THERE" flashes where acreeper blow it up. It's not very funny at all. This however, is deliciously absurd, and I laughed throughout.

It was amazing, and I loved it. THe graphics were really simple, but I don't think any other types of graphics or animations would fit nice to what's going on in the flash.

Ending, amazing.

Some great points, some bad points.

This little flash had some great and some not so great points. Good points first:

Voice acting was absolutely amazing, completely crisp, and beautiful. Both the quality and the voices used in general worked perfectly in the story.

And that's the second great part. The storytelling of the flash was just amazing. Such a great story, obviously quite deep, though I have not seen the first episode.

THe animations and graphics however, were not of top quality. THe animation was somewhat choppy throughout, and the drawings, though not too bad when still and in simple poses, it didn't look very good a lot of the time. The quality of the film as well was problematic, with pixels and such.

Also surprised at your choice of music, which didn't seem to fit this flash very well. I'd expect something more asian, and old.

You should also have a preloader and a replay button, instead of having it loop eternally.

Kel-chan responds:

thanks alot

I'm still new to making animations and I'm not sure how to shrink the file to the right size while keeping the quality up and i'm totally stumped on preloaders

Pretty cute

It's a cute flash, but some things could be improved.

For instance, the animations and sounds. The music is perfect, fitting, cheerful, goes with the theme of the song. The graphics as well, though the dogs could do with some work.

Main issue for me is animation. It's not very smooth, somewhat choppy, and the walking animations look more like they're floating on the ground than walking. Tha backgrounds are neatly done, the cars move smoothly, but the dog animations need work.

The dog barkings, sure, it was kinda cute, but you really should've improved on the sound quality and sfx quality.

hrechkaness responds:

Yeah, I had no original sound bites or suitable sfx for the dog sounds I wanted to achieve, so I did it myself. I knew I wouldn't be able to make a natural sounding dog sfx so I deciding to add some humor to it. I have very little experience at frame by frame animation and walk cycles so this was my first attempt. It didn't help that my first attempt was on a quadruped. I appreciate your review and I have good knowledge now on what I need to work on. Thank you!

Simple, not bad.

A simple skit, not bad at all, could really do with a play and replay function, because the eternal loop was killing me untill I remembered I could pause it by right-clicking.

The graphics in this piece are really simple. It's a specific, style, I supposed, the characters have som nice shading effects to them, though the hands and heads are a tad too simple.

Background is also very simple, but it does okay, it's really only there to avoid the void in the background.

Voice acting isn't bad, but the quality is, you should look into getting some better equipment for recording audio, could improve greatly.

The joke itself was fairly simple, and I can't say I laughed at all, but I'm sure it'll be funny to some.
