Amazing

I am so impressed with this. The attention to detail, the shading, considering the tools you used, it's just so impressive that you got it so realistic. This could easily go for a black/white photography, IMO, if it weren't for the grainy texture from the pencil.

Awesome, you've got a serious shot at taking the prize, if you ask me.

Clever

Awesome design for a t-shirt, love the concept. Whether you're trying to deliver a message against capitalistic Starbucks or just making some awesome lineart for a t-shirt, this is priceless.

I'd wear it.

Demonic

A nice traditional piece, liking that.

Made yourself look really evil with the raised brow and the quite red skin. Hair is even shaped like horns. Sorta. If you're being imaginative =D

Not badly done, the face does look like it's just a bit crooked, and I think you could've done some more shading, though it's well done thus far. Not sure if I like the background, it's somewhat distractive to the main focus of the piece.

SirKillington responds:

Yeah, I just didn't want a whole lot of negative space in the back, so I just did something really quick. Unfortunately, I guess my regular smile is demonic looking, lol. It's definitely difficult to shade with marker though, but I appreciate the input and thanks for the review and kind words :D

Interesting

Could become a really cool graphic novel, without a doubt. Some minor changes to the piece would be nice.

First off, it looks a bit rushed. The brush strokes are clearly visible, and the shading looks a bit off-beat. The necks of both characters look fairly... wrinkly. They just look a bit off, like you got the shading somewhat wrong. The character that's in profile has a somewhat odd-looking nose as well.

I like the coloring, though I think you coudl\ve done some more work on the background.

Neat

Really cool portrait, you look focused or shocked, not sure which one.

Shading is really well done, but I'd love to see more detail to the hair, more shading, it just looks very 2D compared to the rest of the piece right now. A bit out-of place as all. Like the details on the shirt, and the shading done on the face and skin.

Genius!

Oh man, it's just far too kewt.

I love the idea of simply turning all the classes into cats. I'd like to see them in different poses though, because this way you've really just re-colored the cats.

The animation is smooth though, and I like the different words on the different classes. Not sure if it's supposed to have that grainy look to it or not, but I don't really think it's necessary to have it.

Bobfleadip responds:

The grain is added since I'm trying to sell these and I don't want people to have the high quality for free lol

But thanks! I'll have different version up at some point in time!

Pretty cool

Nice to see some traditional art as well in the contest.

I like that you went for a cyborg-like creature, I guess they're considered robotic as well. Well, of course they are. I guess they're considered robots is what I mean.

Anyway, amazing detail on this piece. I think the boy looks a bit off from behind. Really like the abstract background. Looks really good =D

Wow

One of the best Art submissions for Robot day.

The colors are really cool, making the piece look dark and emphasizing some sort of desperation. Questioning whether the robot feels or not is pretty normal, but I like how you set this up, leaving the robot so defenseless. The expression in the face even looks pained, sad.

I like it when people call me bro.
