[The Sugar Claws: Iiii-vii]

Still impressive

I really like your somewhat surreal design of characters and backgrounds. It really goes with the story.

The story itself is very well-done. It's quite deep, detailed, and somewhat original.

The colors you've used are nice, but don't really fit the setting at all times. I do appreciate that you've used the same color palette throughout, very nicely done.

The animation really adds to it, makes it more than just a comic. Animated speech bubbles and so forth. I see there's a track select button, but it's only the one looping track or nothing. Music is very nice though, I'm glad you added it, it wouldn't be as immersive without it. Maybe try to loop it better, though?

[Cold War Frostbite]

Little effort

I can't really rate this high at all.

There doesn't seem to be any effort put into this little flash. It all is something whipped together with poorly drawn graphics and pictures from the net. Only animation is mouths moving and the sad smiley at the end.

Audio quality isn't very good, and the voice acting, well, it's some sort of Microsoft Sam/Speakonia voice, which doesn't really work with anything other than Clock/Lock/Socom/Whatever flashes.

There's really no story to it, and the punchline wasn't very funny. The audio and the lip sync was even out of tact towards the end.

I'd like to see some more effort put in.

Impressive graphics

I'm pretty amazed at the graphics, really love them. However, there are some bugs.

I hear you've got some bugs from compressing, I'm guessing the giraffe's head disappearing and the black sky is because of that.

Audio quality isn't the best, and neither is animation. There really isn't much of a walking animation on the monkey, for instance.

I get the feeling that this'd be a nice style for an animated story, not fully animated, but partially.

yes the giraffe's head is disappearing because of that, i couldn't do anything about it, i just started to work with flash and this is simply an animation experiment (the illustration weren't made specifically for this animation, and i had to create a mini story with the material i had), in future i'll create something more entertaining! :D and without bugs :D

You had me giggling for a while, but I have to say I got a bit bored of it after the first two loops.

I like your style of drawing. It's quite simple, but it's easy to tell exactly what's going on. And it fits the character. You sure you're a cow, though? Looks more like a bull, tbh.

I get that it's an endless loop, but I think you could've had a better punchline towards the end and cut it off instead.

I completely know how you feel. It's not so much flash as it's writing with me. I sit down to write something, and end up doing reviews or watching videos on YouTube instead.

Sounds pretty neat. Liked the mooing, that really fit in. I don't want to know what was on screen as that went on.

Some great points, some bad points.

This little flash had some great and some not so great points. Good points first:

Voice acting was absolutely amazing, completely crisp, and beautiful. Both the quality and the voices used in general worked perfectly in the story.

And that's the second great part. The storytelling of the flash was just amazing. Such a great story, obviously quite deep, though I have not seen the first episode.

THe animations and graphics however, were not of top quality. THe animation was somewhat choppy throughout, and the drawings, though not too bad when still and in simple poses, it didn't look very good a lot of the time. The quality of the film as well was problematic, with pixels and such.

Also surprised at your choice of music, which didn't seem to fit this flash very well. I'd expect something more asian, and old.

You should also have a preloader and a replay button, instead of having it loop eternally.

I'm still new to making animations and I'm not sure how to shrink the file to the right size while keeping the quality up and i'm totally stumped on preloaders

Pretty cute

It's a cute flash, but some things could be improved.

For instance, the animations and sounds. The music is perfect, fitting, cheerful, goes with the theme of the song. The graphics as well, though the dogs could do with some work.

Main issue for me is animation. It's not very smooth, somewhat choppy, and the walking animations look more like they're floating on the ground than walking. Tha backgrounds are neatly done, the cars move smoothly, but the dog animations need work.

The dog barkings, sure, it was kinda cute, but you really should've improved on the sound quality and sfx quality.

Yeah, I had no original sound bites or suitable sfx for the dog sounds I wanted to achieve, so I did it myself. I knew I wouldn't be able to make a natural sounding dog sfx so I deciding to add some humor to it. I have very little experience at frame by frame animation and walk cycles so this was my first attempt. It didn't help that my first attempt was on a quadruped. I appreciate your review and I have good knowledge now on what I need to work on. Thank you!

An experience.

This is amazing. I distinctly remember reviewing some of your flash before, and I loved it back then as well.

The artwork in the comic is what definitely captivates me. It's surreal, and I love how you write down the underlying messages on the pages, like heartbroken and extinguish the flame.

The color scheme is also amazing. It fits very nicely with the story. The music is relaxing, and I'm absolutely loving it. It doesn't loop very well, though, which to me is a problem. Throws me a bit off whenever it repeats.

[TAC - Wrong Turn]

Could do with a lot of work

The main issue with this flash is the voicing. The sound quality is horrendous, you need to get your hands on some microphones with better quality.

Also, the character graphics are okay, so are the drawings in general, but the animations are extremely stiff and unnatural, which is something you should focus on fixing. After that you can focus on your graphics, find your own style for the show and keep it, only with minor edits all along.

Pretty good

Seems like you put a lot of effort into this. Great stuff.

The animations and graphics aren't the best, but they absolutely have their charm. They prove that you put a lot of effort into this, and I do like your graphics. The animations are what i have a problem with. You use too many tweens, and at times, I can see that his hands are... disjointed from his arms, which looks weird. Try some other animating effects.

Music, well, what can I say? It's The Beatles, absolutely fantastic. Sadly, the audio quality was quite poor. That's something you should try to look into, because it did sort of ruin the entire feeling this song is supposed to relay.

You really just need to fix you animations a bit. Make more flash, practice and eventually you'll get it right.
