Graphically speaking, it's a decent flick considering the style you're going for. Other than that this doesn't have anything going for it, at least in my eyes. THe joke isn't really funny and it's something that's been done to death, the laughing SFX was quite terrible, both in audio quality and in the fact that it cut off completely.

Maybe if you made a reel with multiple short sketches like this it'd be all right, but this, stand-alone sketch, it's not enough.

Not bad. It could definitely do with some better voice acting and some better microphones. It's not bad as is, but there's this annoying buzz in the background that ruins it a bit. Graphically it's pretty decent, not amazing but the style has it's own charm.

Trippy. Sure enough you're a terrible animator, but at least it's trippy, right?

Right?

In all honesty the animating is pretty good, as is the graphics. I pretty much know it's you when I see videos like this. I like the trippy style. And the music.

None too shabby. Shows some potential.

The sprite scene in the beginning could do with some freshing up, the coloring seemed a bit off. Other than that your animations were quite good right there. The voice quality seemed to change three times though, might want to have that checked out.

The animation at the end was a bit too short for me to say whether I liked it or not. You could definitely do with some more work on the coloring and shading, though.

Pretty fun comic. Haven't really seen the first issue so I wouldn't be able to say whether or not I feel this is an adequate continuation, but what I saw here, I liked.

Graphics, arts, all good. I would like to see it fully animated, but I'm assuming that isn't happening any time soon. THe popping sound of changing pages was out of place, you might as well remove that. The few animations that were in it were well-made, and the single SFX was all right. It did feel a bit out of place considering it was the only sound effect in the entire flick though.

Hard to believe this little thing is five years old already. It feels like there's not that much change in graphics between then and now. Maybe it was a bit smoother now, than back when this was made, but this kind of animation really looks the same all throughout. Hilarious little flash, nice to go back and rewatch it.

I have no idea what I just watched, but I quite liked it. Loved your sketchy style, went well with the absolute insanity, and of course, the humor. Made me giggle. Then again, every anty RWJ video I see makes me giggle, because I can't stand him.

But yes, love the style, voices are amazing as they always are with RicePirate, could maybe do with some more SFX and background ambience, but overall a pretty damn good one.

Could've sworn I'd already reviewed this, but I guess I'd neglected it.

I have to admit that during the first 5-6 seconds of this one, I didn't expect much more than a boring old flash by someone with mediocre skills. It's not one of the graphically best flashes I've seen, and animations aren't AMAZING, but what makes this flash so good, IMO, is the... "story"? Plot? I don't know what to call it. The absurdity and random nature of the flash is just really really amazing. I also love the music choice, really goes well with the flash. Did you pick the music first and make the flash based on that or the other way around?

The flash could definitely do with a bit better graphics, but it really doesn't harm it much, considering the style and the fact that this is nothing but a fun little flash with little to no meaning.

Brewster responds:

Thanks for the review!

Yeah I wouldn't call it a story, it's more of just a turn of events. I think when I was looking for music I had an idea of what I wanted to animate, but when I found the music it allowed me to figure out what was actually going to happen in the cartoon. So it was kinda a little bit of both. Thanks again!

Really enjoyed this. I've been a pretty big fan of Egoraptor for quite some time now, but I have to say I never really minded all the copycats. At least some of them were pretty good at what they did, and it made me giggle. For example Sanity Not Included. Then again, you can't really say Egoraptor "invented" this style of flash.

But enough of that, on to the actual review. Naturally, the voicing is amazing. Not only Egoraptor, but also the other voices. Audio quality is crisp, and the voices feel natural, not forced. Graphics and animations, there's really nothing I can pick on with it, it's all pretty much perfected in style. Naturally it's not the most detailed, but I don't really feel some seriously detailed graphics would fit too well with the style of the animation, the random skits and so forth.

It's also one of the funnier flashes I've seen on NG in a long long time. I often smile or giggle at what I see on here, but I rarely laugh out loud, like I did with this one. Even when watching it a second time right now, it makes me laugh out loud.

I guess I should take into account the fact that this one's about 6 years old by now.

Graphics are decent, but I still wish there was a bit more focus on shading and coloring, as well as a bit fewer sharp edges. Mouth syncing isn't amazing, but the voices are. And I have to admit it's a pretty damn funny flick. Wondering whether I should go ahead and watch everything from this show or not :>

I like it when people call me bro.
