Oh, wow. Nine times out of ten anything tagged as Madness in the Under Judgement queue is absolute trash. I've come to always expect it being trash. A 5-10 second clip with choppy fbf animation and two characters fighting and dying.

This, however, makes me excited for the Madness Day content coming up! Music is ace, animation is smooth, there's even a story going on that isn't just your typical Madness killfest.

I'm hoping to set the standard for solo movies, can't wait to see what else MD's got in store for us!

Some might call the animation and style old and outdated, but to me it's just classic, and classic done really really well.

The only thing really lacking is the voicing. I mean, I'm fine with all the anthropomorphic creatures sounding completely human, but the audio quality isn't the greatest and could do with some mixing to make it sound more real and fitting for the various situations. Not the best voice actors either. Some background SFX would be nice too, doesn't really feel like much of a party when there's no background chatter, and it just feels really naked in general when there's no background noise outside, like birds or cars driving by, or anything of the sorts really.

Yeah, this is it. This is the Ackbar I fell in love with. A long-ass buildup to a dumb-ass punchline. A great way to go out after this long, strange, 79 episode long trip. The finale that Ackbar deserved. Goin out with a bump n' grind.

I mean, yeah, Ackbar's random n shit, it's always been random, but this just seemed like some incoherent babbling that never really got anywhere. Except for Ackbar exploding. That's the most Ackbar thing in this episode imo.

It's weird seeing how much the review section on the Ackbar series has changed from the earlier episodes to these last couple ones. There's almost nothing but praise, even where I feel the episode is kinda underwhelming. Like with this one. Didn't really feel like there even was a punchline to it?

I mean, it wasn't completely unfunny. I just wanted it to be longer. It's not like you didn't have a dozen other credit sequences you could've joked around with from older episodes.

Aw, I thoroughly enjoyed District 9. Seems to me Ackbar is just a jealous lil bitch cus he's CLEARLY just a dude in a costume.

Lowered my expectations a bit as I approach the end of the Ackbar saga, but apparently that was unnecessary! Great installment, if a bit predictable.

Ah man, idunno if the horrible audio mixing was supposed to be for comedic effect, but it didn't really work out for me. Could've been a better episode if I didn't have such a hard time making out what exactly is being said.

I really think there should be a buddy cop movie starring BBQman and Ackbar. There's clear chemistry between the two, even though Ackbar does his utmost to conceal it. Might just be my bias, I love BBQman and want more of him. True legend of NG right there.

I like it when people call me bro.
