Not bad, for a while

It's a decent game, it has nice graphics and a real simple gameplay, and a nice curve of difficulty. My only complaint is really that igets really boring after a while. The only thing that would keep someone going would be to get achievements unlocked. There is some variation with the different bubbles and gusts of wind and such, but it all gets a bit stale. I'm not entirely sure how you could improve on this, though.

Wow

I am rarely entertained while learning, but this is just amazing.

As with your previous version, I thuroughly enjoyed playing around with this, reading the little bits of information on the different objects and so forth. The scrolling wheel was an awesome addition, and the comments are just long enough to let you know what it is, while not being so long you don't care for reading.

I've already given 20 votes to someone else in King of the Web, but I'll be sure to give you 10 votes a day :)

Decent

Not the most entertaining game IMO, a step back from the whole "Find 5 Differences" genre of games. Though it could work soothing on some, I just found it annoying when I got to the last couple of letters and couldn't find them.

It also seems like the hit detection is a bit off, or rather, it demands too much accuracy. Would also like to see the option of changing the music.

Impressive

The only reason I don't give this a 10 is due to the fact that it's a demo, and I really don't like it when games are advertised on NG through demos.

Anyway, this looks absolutely amazing. It's somewhat original, like a twist on other TD games, the story seems fairly solid, and I like the development of certain characters along the entire series.

The graphics and animations are sweet, and the gameplay is rather simple to grasp for anyone playing. A smooth learning curve is always a good thing in games. Music is pretty much perfect, I really love it.

Thanks for your honest and frank review! We understand demos can be a tough sell, so that's why we tried to be as up-front as possible. Glad you liked the game :)

Soothing

This was, surprisingly enough, quite soothing. I ended up just staring at the screen as I drew.

However, I do feel it's a bit too simple. The game doesn't really have much variation to it. Apart from the music, it's fairly the same throughout, apart from switching of colors or speed and such.

In the shape of the brush, I feel you could've added something. Another couple of variations of it. Spirals, stars, I don't know, but as is it's far too simple to reach high up on the scores.

Maybe make it easier for someone to pick colors. I don't know anything about HEX, so I just ended up inputing random numbers. Still looked awesome, byt all means, but maybe having a sort of diagram or something, or sliders instead.

Also noticed that when I set the speed to below 1, the cursor would shoot off screen and away from my cursor. Guess that's a bug?

Kwing responds:

You've really pointed out a lot about the game, which I appreciate. I would have liked to put in simple drawing features over what I already had, but I guess it slipped my mind. But as for stars or spirals, the second cursor only moves in relativity to your mouse. I'm not sure how you could control predefined shapes to tweak them to your liking. Of course, it's not too hard to draw these in yourself... Which is the point of a drawing program after all.

I also wanted to use a palate for selecting colors, but didn't know how to do it. Perhaps if I ever update this I'll add it in, but I'll admit the hex colors get confusing.

Entertaining

Great game, kept me entertained for a long, long time. Graphics are real smooth, just everythinig about this game seem to click for me. The music, the gameplay, the whole story behind it and such. I'm usually no fan of the 3D style, but I think it looks real good.

Ech

I never like it when anyone submits these un-finished test flashes to NG.

I can't stand MLP, I'll start off by saying that, so I'm heavily biased. I'll still say that this looks fairly aesthetically pleasing. The coloring and graphics are just fine.

Music is fitting for a game of this style I guess. My main issue is that this is just a test. And I'm no fan off test flashes being uploaded. I feel flashes like this, of MLP, are going to get a good score just because of the fanbase that seems to be rather large here on NG.

Good luck finishing this off though.

Tons of fun

Love the idea of combining gameplay from so many classics and putting them all into this mix, and putting Abobo in it. Really loved it, the sound effects and music were perfect, and I actually really want to play Zelda right now.

Amazing

It might be because I'm a huge jmtb02 fanboy, but I love this game beyond anything.

It is BEAUTIFUL. Really, the style and art of this flash is so perfect to me. The same blue elephant from so many other jtmb02 games, the same cheerful and colorful feel. It's huge, it's very varied throughout, you've got a lot of options when it comes to the levelling of your character, the music is amazing.

I can't find anything wrong with this flash.

Something new

Interested kind of game right here. Sort of a mix between a shooter, TD, defend your castle. Really enjoy it.

The graphics are really simple, and maybe not the best, I just don't like the angle of the board, it's somewhat difficult to move around with that particular angle. The graphics, like i said, are simple, cartoony, not the best I've ever seen, a bit childish.

Audio is all right, the quality is good and it goes with the style of the game.

I liked the concept, shooting snowmen and so on, with different types of weapon that springs from a garden. Something I can't say I've seen before. I also like that you can upgrade stuff, and the wide variety of items and such you can upgrade. I think you might be levelling a bit too fast, though, because I easily maxed out my Damage stat by the first couple of maps.

I like it when people call me bro.
