Damn cool

I love this rendition of an adult Ash. Come to think of it, I never thought what he'd end up as an adult.

I like the dark look. It seems grimy, with some darkened colors, depressing. The way you drew Pikachu is also really neat, love it. The piece as a whole really just seems depressing and saddening, the fate of a child's hero.

Could do with some more detail, I suppose. It seems a bit sketchy in parts, like with the shoes. Some lines you could've removed on the entire piece, the pants and the shoes mainly. Shading and lighting is pretty well done. The right hand (the one holding the can), seems somewhat odd as well.

Sketchy

Not sure how this got so popular, guessing it's because of fanboys.

It's rushed, it lacks detail, the shading is minimal, coloring is really simple, and I can't find much detail apart from the bandages, maybe some on the gun, and buttons. All in all this looks more like a sketch than a finished product.

Then again, it's fan art, and it looks like the character from the story, with the hands without arms etcetera.

Concept art?

Not bad, not bad at all, though I believe it could do with some refining.

I love your lighting, it looks really good with the sparks and the blue light in the back of the robot's head, as well as the shadowing. It's easy to see where the light source is.

The concept is pretty cool as well, but the whole thing looks like concept art rather than a finished piece. It's not very clear, the lines aren't very smooth, and the coloring isn't the best.

It's also very difficult to see exactly what's inside of it's head, which you could do something with, I'd like that. Some detail to the piece would be nice, as there seems to be some lack of it right now.

Not your best

I'm not sure you put as much work into this as some of your other pieces. This seems a bit rushed and not that detailed.

The best part is probably the eyes. The shine you made looks really good, even though his left eye seems to be loose in its socket.

The beard, I'm no fan of. It looks more like a brush tool that's been unevenly used on his chin. not sure what's going on under his nose either, or the lines under his nostrils.

The nose itself isn't too bad, but it looks a bit too edgy, considering it's 3D, and the jawline seems a bit off as well. The hair doesn't really fit in, as it's cartoon hair, you should probably try to make something work with the regular hair, instead of cartoon hair, even if it seems really hard to do.

The neck also seems a bit thin, seeing as it's slanted inwards towards the bottom.

[How the Brain Works]

Cool concept

Love the idea you had for this one, I think it looks really cool. The puzzle pieces of the different parts of the body/head connected by wires to the brain, which in turn is connected to a battery. Really cool.

The lineart is a bit simple and I believe you could've put some more work into it, even though it looks really cool the way it is, with piercings, the pupil of the eye being yin yang, and the hand with many fingers. You should by the way work some more on the fingers on that hand.

I'd like some more shading work to make it look more realistic. A background color would be nice, and even coloring the piece itself could work out really well with the right colors used, the right palette.

Realistic

Really amazing how realistic this looks.

The lineart is perfect, and the coloring makes it look, well, realistic. The shading as well, on her face, looks great and really makes it look realistic, even more so than the coloring.

The detail on the flowers on the hat amaze me. Could maybe have added a background, but if this is a portrait, that would maybe just pull the attention away from the person, which isn't what you want.

Works out well

Colors are fun and all, but in some cases, it doesn't really fit. This being one of them.

The image of this little boy, with traits of a mouse, really wouldn't be the same with colors. Right now it's somewhat sad, but cute. I really like the use of colors and the shading you did. The one source of light is really good.

Really cool

I really like the majestic feel of this piece.

Never really figured a nerd could take down so many super heroes with just a lightsaber.

I love the lighting you've done here. It really brings out that majestic atmosphere surrounding the nerd and his mistress. The blank glasses look really good as well. The detail on the dead super heroes and the texture making it look somewhat grimy and horrific is really cool. I also like the diversity of heroes. Link is even in there.

I feel like something's missing from the piece, even though it's very well done.

The background is good, i like the typing, really enhances the creeped out atmosphere. The character looks very good as well, the stitches on his arm could maybe have been done better, maybe make som look torn or something like that. The shading is pretty well done, bu tI think ther emight be a bit too much lighting, considering it's supposed to look nasty and scary. It lacks some texture, some grimy texture could really do wonders for it.

Amazing style

I much prefer this to anything that would be seemingly perfect, but unoriginal. I've been looking at some of your stuff lately, and I'm fairly amazed every time. Your style ist just amazing, with the attention to detail and the tools you use. Love it.

For instance the buttons on the jacket. The hands look really good, fits the character. The two faces. I also like the symbolism, though that might just be me trying to read more into it.

Use of colors in this piece is just great. Really helps creating the atmosphere.
