I can definitely get something of a Final Fantasy feel from this. I feel like the backing strings in the final section are a bit overpowering, and the flute melody can get a bit intense at times and kinda clashes with the xylophone. Not a big fan of the two breaks at around 0:20 and 0:59 either. Sounds like a lot of negativity, but overall it's a nice track with a good melody, so if this is more of a practice work then that's pretty impressive!

Yeah this is easily the best track I've come across on my Random journey today. Real smooth, real chill hip-hop. Not too sure I agree on the triphop tag, but that's just semantics tbh.

Thanks!

I mean, it's not necessarily the worst. The talking section, sure, seems you threw that in just to make it seem worse, but for the most part this could easily go as some noisy techno track. It still gets repetitive, it's fairly flat, but it's far from the worst I've heard.

Always happily surprised to hear some lo-fi/bedroom pop on Newgrounds, when the audio portal is mostly filled with electronic music of varying quality.

I'm personally of the opinion that lo-fi indie shouldn't be mixed or mastered too heavily. With this I'd still like to see some cleaning up of the intro, whether it's the reverb or big room effect you've added, I'm not a big fan of it. Maybe went a bit too hard on the reverb on the vocals as well, but other than that I enjoyed it!

I mean, it's just the synths. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it definitely needs some more depth to it. It'd require a decent amount of work, but the melody is real good, and the synths are pretty nice. It just needs to be backed up by a drum line and bass, at the very least.

The fact you commented on this after >7 years from posting is kinda silly lol

I mean, I probably wouldn't call this trap myself, it definitely sounds a lot more like dubstep than any trap I've ever heard, barring the drums which are trap. That said, it's a pretty good loop, though I couldn't imagine this, in its current state, being much more than background music, or at best an intro to a song. The voice samples kinda makes it so it's not possible to drop lyrics on top.

This seems extremely random, like you never stopped to take a step back and looking at the whole picture. I'm guessing the electro-metal sound was what you were going for though.

The mixing's pretty poor, the track feels extremely flat, and quickly gets somewhat repetitive, even though there is actual variation in the track, it all just sounds mostly the same.

2009 and I'm getting some real PC Music vibes from this. Especially from the 5 second mark. IDK if I'd call this a loop, but I could 100% see this being reworked into a longer track. I guess the only thing I'm not a big fan off is the bass synth which really sounds out of place in this when compared to the bouncy lighter synths.

Yo this was a lot more interesting than I expected it to be. Ambient songs on NG can be a bit hit and miss, and the preview looked kinda dull and repetitive. Instead this is a lovely track, and I'm really surprised to read that you at this point were new to producing music.

I'm not the biggest DnB fan, but this was pretty damn cool. A lot more mellow than most of what you'll find tagged as DnB on NG. Your voice isn't the worst, but it's not the greatest either. It is a bit short, I'd personally like to hear you maybe get someone else to do the vocals and expand a bit on it, as the end kinda seems rushed like you ran out of ideas or wanted to get it done quickly?

I like it when people call me bro.
